It was a hot day for Sports Day this year, as all the KS2 children took part in lots of different events - see if you can spot yourself in the photos!
Last Friday was our latest assembly and in it we held the finals of our Y5 public speaking competition. Our six finalists were Pan Pan, Peter and Alice from 5K and Khun, Proud and Tasha from 5P. They all did fabulously well and spoke with such confidence. In the end, the judges chose Khun in 3rd place, Proud in 2nd and our champion was Peter, with his excellent speech about the Pantomime! Enjoy the photos below... We've had a great start to the new year with the beginning of our public speaking contest. Everyone in Year Five has written a speech and our first ten contestants have already delivered them to the class. We've had speeches about Christmas in Denmark, Dinosaurs, endangered marine animals and much, much more! What's been your favourite so far?
