This week we've begun our new Space Explorers topic. The entry point was to design and then build a rocket from simple materials that could deliver emergency supplies to the International Space Station - it was harder than it looked! Here are some photos from the activity...
We also watched this fantastic live video feed from the International Space Station - we were lucky enough to see an astronaut on a space walk (well, we saw their hand...). Leave a comment if you see anything!

Welcome to your new class! Our topic for the first few weeks of Year Five is Brainwave and it's all about how we learn, how we think and how our brains work. For our first blogging session, I would like you to leave a comment that explains these things...
1) Tell us about something that you're proud to have learnt. How did you learn it? What was difficult about it? 2) How do you think you learn best? 3) What are you looking forward to improving in Year Five? 4) Give one 'Top Tip' about learning for the other members of our class. |
